Which one fits you
- You're in the US and want to give ChatGPT: an OpenAI gift card is the official route.
- You want to give Claude: a Claude gift subscription from Anthropic. Redeem it on the web, and only one at a time.
- You're outside the US and want ChatGPT Plus yourself: OpenAI gift cards won't work on your account. Try an in-app purchase funded by an app-store gift card, or a top-up on your own account.
- You can't pay with a card at all: a top-up paid with Alipay or WeChat Pay. See ChatGPT Plus without a credit card.

You pay in CNY; the amount on the checkout page is final. USD, MYR and SGD are rough conversions (rates from open.er-api.com on 2026-10-26: ¥1 ≈ USD 0.150 ≈ MYR 0.61 ≈ SGD 0.19). What you actually pay also depends on the exchange rate and fees charged by Alipay, WeChat Pay or your bank. Returning customers get ¥5 off automatically.
How a top-up works
- Order at kw.yaoyao.chat (in Chinese; use your browser's translate button) and enter an email you check.
- ChatGPT Plus, 1 month: you get a card code right after payment. Enter it at cz.yaoyao.chat, then paste the text from chatgpt.com/api/auth/session while logged in. It's usually active within 1–3 minutes (333 activations in the last 30 days, 90% within 3 minutes, as of 2026-10-27).
- Claude, Pro and other plans: fill in the form on the order page after payment, and the plan is activated manually on your account.
A topped-up plan can't be given to someone else as a code the way a gift card can. It's activated straight onto the account whose details you submit.
Payment
The checkout page takes two payment methods: Alipay QR and WeChat Pay QR, in CNY. You can't enter a credit card at checkout, and we don't take PayPal or crypto there.

Whether the first two work depends on Alipay's and WeChat Pay's risk checks and on the type of QR code, so we can't promise they will. If one attempt fails, don't keep retrying; use the third option. Full guide (Chinese): how overseas buyers pay.
After-sales rules
- Activation failed: the card code is not used up and is returned automatically, so you can retry. If you'd rather not, ask Yaoyao on WeChat for a refund. For manually activated plans, we either try again or refund you.
- Membership dropped after a successful activation (within the paid period the subscription is revoked and the account goes back to Free): send the order number and a screenshot, and one more month is added to the same account.
- Account banned or deactivated: not covered and not refunded. For ChatGPT, we can help you register a new account. For Claude, we help with an appeal through Anthropic's official channel; the outcome is up to Anthropic.

FAQ
Is there an official ChatGPT gift card?
Yes, but only in the US. OpenAI's gift cards are USD stored-value cards sold through authorized retailers, and they can only be redeemed on US-based ChatGPT accounts.
Can I use a ChatGPT gift card outside the US?
No. According to OpenAI, gift cards are currently only for US-based ChatGPT accounts. Outside the US, use an in-app purchase or a top-up on your own account.
Is there a Claude gift card?
Anthropic sells Claude gift subscriptions for Pro and Max. They're redeemed on the web at claude.ai/gift/redeem, expire 365 days after purchase, and you can't stack several at once.
Are cheap ChatGPT gift cards on marketplaces legit?
Be careful. Codes that don't come from OpenAI's authorized retailers may be invalid or already redeemed, and the seller may disappear. Buy from the official source or use a service that activates the plan on your own account.
Can I give a topped-up plan as a gift?
Not as a code. A top-up is activated directly on the account whose details are submitted. You can order it for a friend, but they'll need to provide their own account details; they never need to share a password.
How much is ChatGPT Plus through Yaoyao?
